I am one of those people who remember my dreams... I even remember them in color.
Last night I dreamed I was riding a jetski along a swamp canal filled with man eating alligators. Big alligators. They would rise to the surface of the water and watch me menacingly as I passed by them. I had to keep my speed up or they would come after me. And I had to keep a good eye out for them so that I wouldn't run into them, because if I hit them the jetski would overturn and I'd die.
I've had this dream before, it's not one I enjoy.
